Roof Surveys for Cambridge City Council

Roof Surveys for Cambridge City Council

Sky Revolutions was commissioned to undertake a series of aerial roof condition surveys for Cambridge City Council.

We deployed our lead drone pilot to undertake the surveys across eight different building locations. At each location, we photographed the entire roof sections in ultra high definition detail.

The photographs were collated in a detailed report, annotated to highlight defects and areas for remediation consideration.

Aerial roof surveys or drone surveys are a great way to generate highly detailed data quickly with a vastly reduced safety risk – removing the requirements for scaffolding and scissor lifts – for example.

Sky Revolutions is often commissioned for these types of surveys because of our construction background – meaning we can identify areas of concern more quickly than other aerial survey companies, and then spend high value time interrogating them and developing additional photographic evidence.

All our roof survey drone pilots are fully qualified and CAA approved. We operate a market-leading drone fleet and can deploy at short notice, meaning landlords and Facility Managers can rely on us to deliver detailed information quickly after a storm or damage incident – allowing them to make quick remediation decisions.

We are also able to undertake drone surveys at night and within built up areas. We can deliver enhanced data to enrich aerial surveys too, including thermal images to identify heat loss, 360 degree imaging or film
